As many of you know, the mill roof sustained significant damage as a result of the storm of October 28 & 29. The estimate for repairs is $250,000.
The mill if owned by Raymond J Breton. Ray shares the mill with the town. Vassalboro Days is held there, Halloween at the Olde Mill is an annual event, as is the Community Christmas Tree Lighting and many other events.
Ray has created a picnic park and swimming hole above and below the dams of the mill. He created a children's playground and basketball courts for the town's children.
